The University of Klagenfurt invited me to a very special panel discussion with other athletes about how our sport changed us, what we learned through our sport and we also looked at social aspects. Before we had the chance to talk about our experiences, a popular Austrian book author “Franzobel” read a few lines from his book “Cordoba”.

Right after the WPBA Masters in Michigan, my trainer and I went back home to do a trickshot show at the Coca Cola conference in Vienna. After a long day of work the top managers from all over the globe spend some relaxing time on the billiard tables. For 30 min. I showed them what magic on the pool table looks like!
I had a great time there and the people were really nice.

My trainer and I were invited to be a part of the FIS Ski World Cup in Bad Kleinkirchheim, about 45 minutes from my hometown Klagenfurt. It was the downhill womens competition and it is just impressive what these women accomplish. The favorite and leading women Lindsey Vonn from the USA did not have her best day and only finished 3rd. In the beautiful Sportpark in Klagenfurt, where our new billiard sport academy is located, 3 students organized a sports charity for the SOS Kinderdorf (SOS children villages) where my trainer and I were also invited. During this Charity hundred of kids where able to try out many different sports and also meet successful athletes such as Martin Koch (ski jumping) and many others. And once again it was time for the Carinthian Sportswoman of the year award. The top athletes of the year were crowned by the Carinthian sports press club. 60 sports journalists voted for their Nr.1 of the year. 41 voted for me to be the Nr.1 this year. Sportsman of the year was once again Thomas Morgenstern the ski jumping king, who won pretty much everything in 2011. So this was my fifth sportwoman award and I am very proud of that.
