In the beautiful Sportpark in Klagenfurt, where our new billiard sport academy is located, 3 students organized a sports charity for the SOS Kinderdorf (SOS children villages) where my trainer and I were also invited. And once again it was time for the Carinthian Sportswoman of the year award. The top athletes of the year were crowned by the Carinthian sports press club. 60 sports journalists voted for their Nr.1 of the year. 41 voted for me to be the Nr.1 this year. Today is the day where all sports enthusiasts in Austria look to the Eventpyramide in Voesendorf, close to Vienna, where the sportsman and sportswoman of the year will be crowned. For the first time in my professional career I am one of the top 5 sportswomen in the country.
Austria is a skiing country and to be in a sport like billiards,which is not as highly acknowledged as others here, it is an even bigger honour to be nominated.

Porsche Klagenfurt is a car dealer in Klagenfurt who is a part of the Porsche Inter Auto Group (PIA) a worldwide car company. This company sells Porsche, Audi, VW and Skoda. Since October we are working in cooperation with Porsche Klagenfurt and I have the honour to drive the new Skoda Octavia combi a perfect car for an athlete. Between September 10 and 18, 2011 Europe’s volleyball elite will gather in Austria and the Czech Republic to determine the new European Champion in the course of the EuroVolley 2011.
Austria hosted the football European Championship in 2008 and the handball European Championship in 2010 so this will be the next big sporting event in Austria.
