From April 27th until May 1st the 3rd world ranking event takes place in Beijing/China. The World 9-Ball Beijing Open is one of the biggest pool events where 48 women and 96 men compete for the title. The tournament will be held in the Yuetan stadium, a former olympic stadium. The second world ranking event of the year are the Philippine Open which are held in SM Megamall in Manila. The event features divisions for both men and women. The men’s championship will have a 64-player main draw and the women’s championship will have a 32-player main draw. The discipline is 10 – Ball with a race to 9. The show is called “Wir sind Kaiser” (We are Kaiser) which is satirical talkshow where the talkshow master represents a Kaiser of Austria.
